SponsoredTweets hire me badge Today was a great day. I got my first sponsored tweet through SponsoredTweets. Now it was no $1000 dollar tweet like John Chow but it was money and it was easy. Well, let me rephrase that. I worked hard to build up my twitter account but the actual act of having a sponsor make you an offer to tweet your followers and then accepting (or not) and then tweeting is a 30 second process.

The great thing about sponsored tweets is that in order to have enough followers that a sponsor would care to approach you means you have been tweeting for a while for free. Because you enjoy it, and now you are getting a little cha-ching as a super bonus. YES..

It’s hard for me to express how cool it is to be made an offer by a sponser that wants to advertise something that you already think is cool. Something that is cool and if you would have know about it, just may have mentioned it for free anyway.

I have a large following in the fitness industry at Buildingbodies.ca and that is where almost all of my online income comes from. It’s been a long time coming wondering how a lot of the other big bloggers are putting this all together. It’s not so hard to get to $1000-$3000 a month online income but I was seriously starting to wonder how the heck they were getting those 5 figure paydays. Now it’s all starting to come together and I’ll keep you posted as we go.
