YouTube Profit Sharing Still Sucks

Tune Core Music Distribution of Your Own Music

In my previous post about youtube profit sharing I was pretty excited about it. At first there was a select crowd only that was invited in and I was one. (C’mon… everyone likes to feel special.)

It looks like pretty much everyone can get in on the action now… but what kind of action is it?

I shut mine down a couple of months ago because I never saw one piece of statistical data show up in my adsense control panel (this is where the youtube profit sharing data is displayed) let alone a click. Before you say that perhaps no one watches my videos you can check out the channel stats here for Buildingbodies (my company).

I did some research and apparently it takes 90 days for account info to show up in your control panel. How the heck does that work? Google could have that in there in an hour!

I’d love to hear you two cents and experiences with youtube profit sharing because after a big jump start, I’m really starting to wonder about the validity of adding this to my online income sources at all.
