The Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian
Heading out tonight to watch the opening of The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. I have really high hopes after seeing the first The Chronicles of Narnia. I loved that movie and had to go buy the DVD (I’m a bit of a geek at heart).
Since I have been making my own tunes lately, I’ve really been noticing the soundtracks of movies and even on the opening of the DVD menu the music makes me go “WOW”.
I’ll let you know what I think after I see it and feel free to add your own input to the comments below after you see it. I’d like to know what everyone else thought.

The Verdict is in: Fun movie to watch. Not as good as the first by a long shot and for a couple of reasons.
In “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian” I feel that everything got very cookie cutter. The story was great but the aspects of girl kisses guy, Peter has mercy in a fight and doesn’t kill his opponent, as well as comic relief that wasn’t in the first Chronicles of Narnia. They were all pieces that I would put into a movie if I was following an outline.
I still enjoyed it a ton but the first one was an experience while The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian was more of something worth seeing on a Friday night.
The special effects were rocking in this one while the music was a tad disappointing. For some reason I think a movie like this should have all pure musical scores and leave the cheesy modern lyrics out of it.
There’s my two cents and with that and a buck you can get yourself a coffee.

the makers of Prince Caspian kept to the original story better than i would have expected… i had heard they were going to make it into a silly pure-action flick, but thankfully this was not so much the case
