Recharge Ipod While Traveling

I’m heading off to Thailand and need to recharge my ipod while traveling (K, I wrote this a month ago). I’m going light with just a backpack and so will not be bringing my laptop. This is a bit of a challenge because I’ve always charged my ipod either hooked up to the computer or in the dock while listening to it.

It’s also going to be a challenge just being away from my computer!!

Back to the task at hand…

The Apple USB Power Adapter is the solution (I could not find a pic for you). Now I tell you that up front to save you a little grief. Here’s why…

I searched the web for alternatives. Weird hacks… solar power… whatever. I just thought there had to be a way to do this without going to buy another contraption. I came up empty.

Long Story Short…. I bought one… never used it. I would have used it if I had not…

Forgot that now days you can charge your Ipod on the plane and most internet cafes. In addition to that, all the plugins in Thailand require an adaptor that I could not find while there.

Anyone else end up in this sort of kerfufle?

About Raymond Burton

Writing here is treating me well and I enjoy it a ton. I enjoy..no make that love working out, but one on one personal training is a time for money style of job. So unfortunately there is a limit to the amount of people I can help with my advice in any given day unless I wanted to work 24/7. Doing that also limits the amount of time I can spend on non-money making passions. I also found that putting my all into getting results for a person limited the amount of people I could give 100% to. This is where the internet entered. I found that with the buildingbodies.ca training site I could put everything I knew about physical activity on the net and everyone would have access to it for free

Check out iGo. I bought one of their doohickeys on Woot.com a few years ago. It came with a 12V and 110V plugs with interchangeable tips for whatever you want to plug into it, including the iPod. Now I carry one cord with multiple tips for my phone, iPod, and camcorder.

  2. Sweet. Thanks again Bill :-)
