This is probably the worst money I have ever invested in anything web so far. I realize the impact that negative reviews can have on a products sales and I have to say that if reviews are meant to help, then helping you would mean telling you NOT to buy this.

I bought the mac version for $97 and am still looking for the positive in that transaction other than buying something for the sake of doing a review. Refund please.

Positives? Nice looking interface. Not intuitive, drop down menu’s dont even fit on your screen, but nice looking.

What was I looking for in the Hummingbird software and why was I disappointed? I wanted to follow people that were interested in the same topics as me by looking them up in a search. Then I wanted to follow them without having to press a button a million times. Outcome? Total FAIL.

I left the stupid software running for 8 hours and managed to follow less than 20 people for 8 searches and even though they were “high quality rated” follows, there were no follow backs the next day.

As far as usability, I can’t listen to music while I work now because I had to turn off my volume. Every freaking time the Hummingbird software searches and refreshes, it makes a god awful tweeting noise that scares the crap out of you. Now for PC users, they can go into “My Documents” and modify a file in the script to turn it off. GREAT. That’s what you want. To buy software and then have to do script work. I don’t care how easy the fix is.

For MAC users, you’re stuck with the noise. And it is awful. I hoped that with an upgrade that it would be fixed. WOW, the upgrade button returns an error. Just out of morbid curiosity, let’s check out the affiliate program because I can’t actually believe people are selling this garbage…. Page is down. Thank god. But another fail on upkeep and professionalism in my opinion.

I WANT A REFUND.

Ya, good luck with that. Just try and find a place to get that credit card purchase of the Hummingbird Software done and let me know how you make out. Man I’m choked.

I really can’t see the difference between an outright scam/online theft and this software. Harsh? Yup, and I mean every word.

It’s an absolute waste of money.

Anyone else given this a shot? Anyone else got their money back?
