Shoemoney Membership | ClickTale

Last post about the Shoemoney System I got a little excited because Jeremy mentioned Google Analytics Optimizer and how important this is to online business and keeping track of what is working and what is not. I know this to be important information so I got a little excited reporting to that end.

Today and from now on, I am going to try to remain unemotional in my reporting and state just the facts of what is going on as a subscriber to the Shomoney System. Or should I?

When you put your opinions and emotions into reporting what you see, sometimes you end up eating crow. One week of the Shoemoney System could be totally awesome so you pump it up and then the next week could totally suck…

…. or you could say it sucks only to find out that it actually rocked and you don’t really know as much as you think you know. I don’t really know how this will all pan out. SOOOOO… I’ll tell you what. I’ll report on it just like as if you were going through it. I may look back and wish I would have said some things differently but in the long run, everyone will be able to read over all the posts in their entirety and make their own decisions based on how I swayed back and forth myself.

They could see that I was pumped one week about the Shoemoney System, then disappointed the next. Then totally disappointed but that the advice turned out to be correct. Fair enough?

Alright… onto this week. A Tale… A ClickTale…

Today we watched a 6:31 video of Clicktale in action. It showed how clicktale can reveal what your visitor does once they hit your landing page. ClickTale looks very promising and I have never used it before.

Jeremy said that there is a link below the video giving us a free 100 page view trial account, however that link is not there as of this time. I will email customer support and see what is going on there.

I found the Free Account on the ClickTale site though and here it is: Free Account

ClickTale looked really promising however so I went over and checked it out. For the BASIC account it’s $99/ month for 20,000 Recorded ?pageviews / month. Which ever comes first.

WOW, now do I try and use this or what? With the Shoemoney Membership at $197 and ClickTale at $99 I’m in for almost $300/month if I decide to go in. My sites are big enough that the free 100 pageview account wouldn’t last me long but it would be nice if I could use that to give ClickTale a shot first.

I’ve made a lot of plunges this year with internet business. I hired a copywriter for a lot of money (to me) to try and increase my Fat To Fit Program Sales. I joined the Shoemoney System to learn new methods. I pushed facebook ads for online and offline businesses and ran ebay auctions… all based on trying to finally make it to the big leagues.

What do I have to report so far for this?

That google adsense is a dying unpredictable business model but I’ve done that rant before in my seven year journey with adsense.

That selling Ebooks work as long as you can get your salespage conversion high enough to support your click costs. Then you can turn on the tap… but this is a long process and hiring a copywriter is NO guarantee of success or a highly converting sales page.

That commission junction and other affiliate programs are tricky. It takes a lot of experimenting to get a good converting offer and CPC price that will make you money. At this point, affiliate offers are touted as some of the largest earners of income for the big online guru’s but they are my smallest. Am I missing something big here?

I hate to say it but sometimes… just sometimes… maybe you need to get out of the house or at least onto the phone to make some real money. Despite being online since 2002, my biggest income source since Adsense
